Getting up to 10 calls and sms messages a day. Annoying

Scam call, receive up to 3 a day, all with different numbers, when you answer they hang up, If i call back the number is disconnected, when I message back abuse it goes unanswered, what is this point of this scam?

I must be lucky, up to 20 calls a day, normally in sets of 3, once one stops ringing the next starts, nice to feel wanted not.

Never leaves a message, calls up to 4 times a day.

Multiple calls a day with the same prefix 0480 036.. Just different last three numbers. Never leave a message. Borderline harassment calls. Sometimes 6 a day.

I've also been getting multiple unrelenting calls from number beginning with 0480 036 XXXXX with different last digit variations. When I pick up they hang up. Before this, I was getting calls from different numbers with the same fake pre recorded message about being wanted by the government for a crime, clearly a scare tactic. The number variations around this one were 0401 747 XXXX, 0439 048 XXXX, 0431 575 XXXX to name a few.

Been calling for months on this number with different ending variations. Started with 0480012xxx and now have moved on to the 0480036xxx. Getting multiple calls a day now.
