What the apps do not do

  • They do not use the microphone, precise location or an advertising identifier.
  • They do not sell personal data or use it for ad tracking.
  • They do not load third-party ads. Events and crashes go only to ktozvonil.net.

Data we process

  • Phone number. The number you look up or put in a review is sent to ktozvonil.net so we can show the community verdict and store the review. You can verify your own number via Telegram.
  • Account sign-in. Search works without an account. If you sign in: Google, Sign in with Apple or Telegram. We store a user id and, if present, an email.
  • Device identifier. A random UUID the app creates and sends as X-Device-Id so guests can review and so we can limit abuse. This is not an advertising ID.
  • Review text and category. Published in the directory if moderation accepts them.
  • iOS — the call log is not read. Third-party iOS apps cannot read the call log. Incoming calls are labelled by Call Directory from a community list stored locally. The extension does not network.
  • Android — the journal only if you allow it. The call journal is read only if you grant READ_CALL_LOG, to label recent calls with the community verdict. The full log is not uploaded. Search and reviews work without this permission.
  • Contact names — only after you tap share. Contacts access first shows a name on the card for you only. Name and number go to the server only if you tap “share names with the community”.
  • Crashes, performance and in-app events. Our events and diagnostics go to ktozvonil.net. They are not sent to ad networks.

Why

App functionality: lookup, reviews, incoming identification, sign-in, anti-abuse. An unknown number is not treated as safe.

Storage and transfer

Directory data stays on our servers while needed for the number card. Transfer is HTTPS. We do not sell data to third parties.

Your rights

To delete a review or device-linked data, email abuse@ktozvonil.net with the number, review text or device id (Profile → tap the version seven times). More: data deletion.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

English (for App Review)

Neither app uses third-party ads, advertising identifiers, microphone or precise location. We do not sell personal data.

iOS. The iOS app does not read the call log (third-party apps cannot). Incoming identification uses Call Directory and a community list stored in an App Group. The extension does not network.

Android. The Android app reads the call journal only if the user grants READ_CALL_LOG, to label recent calls with the community verdict. The full log is not uploaded. Search and reviews work without this permission. Incoming identification uses an overlay card and, if granted, the Android call-screening role.

Data processed on both platforms: (1) phone numbers you look up, review or verify; (2) optional account: Google, Sign in with Apple (name + email, including Hide My Email) or Telegram; we store a user id; (3) a random on-device UUID in the X-Device-Id header so guests can post reviews and so we can limit abuse (not an advertising ID); (4) review text and category, stored if moderation accepts it; (5) contact names and numbers only if you tap “share names” — never photos, email or notes; (6) crash, performance and in-app events sent only to ktozvonil.net — not to ad networks.
