Gumtree scammer - wanted $10 petrol via pay id, refused cash in hand for fuel. Asked me to pick up. I refused and this person continued on to call me an XXXXXX after refusal. Called out as scam as I googled the phone number

On Gumtree, he asks you to transfer him about $15 for petrol via Osko. When you point out that he's a scammer he becomes very defensive.

Also found my ad on gumtree asking for a phone for my partner, asked for $10 to hold the phone then told us in the morning that it was a scam all along

This guy found my add on gumtree and requested payment by way of payid (phone number) used name Jason Pham. Goods weren’t delivered - I got scammed for $10

Responded to my ad on gumtree and wanted me to transfer her money via PayID said she would provide me her license number then changed her story several times.I googled the number and found this page and so did not make the transfer.

SCAMMER. This person responded to a wanted ad on Gumtree offering the item for sale. He asked for a $10 or $15 payment prior to collection via PayID. Provided a fake address for collection of item that he did not have.

Went by the name ‘Jennifer’ Replied to my wanted add, asked me to transfer $10 for petrol to deliver or I could pickup tomorrow, I said I’ll pickup tomorrow and he didn’t like that. Carried on asking if I thought he was a scammer….. Yeah mate you obviously are.

Scammer - bank account name J Pham goes by Jason - trawls Wanted ads on gumtree and then text messages. Is or plays a imbecile that is a no hoper, no money... Can’t pay rent, has no fuel money but will deliver for 7$ extra of fuel money.. Asks you to do a PayId transfer - commonwealth bank. Has been reported to the bank and the police. Perth

Scammer!!! Replied to a wanted ad I had on Gumtree. Offered to deliver the item for me as he claimed it would be too big to fit in my car. Then asked for $15 for petrol to be sent via online transfer before delivery. After I refused no reply. I knew from the beginning it sounded like a scam after he refused to send photos. After googling the phone number I came across this website with all the others he has successfully scammed.

Replied to my wanted ad. I transferred an initial $40 and then $100. He then told me he was scamming me and said he has done it to several people. I have text messages from him which will be provided to police

Exactly as stated below. Responds to wanted ad offers item dirt cheap but needs petrol money. But then needs more and more money. Don’t fool urself. Thankfully only $10 lost

Replied to my wanted add on gumtree. Offers what you want super cheap ans asks for $10 delivery or deposit. When you transfer he asks for $10 more and blocks you. Don’t fall for it! Have reported to the police as there’s so many comments of him doing this

Contacted from a loft bad wanted ad. Needed fuel money and a strap from Bunnings to tie down the bed. Got $25 and blocked number. Tried calling from another number. It was turned off.

Scammed from Gumtree, I posted an ad for cleaning, he messages claiming to be a garden service, had asked me to pre pay due to covid, I sent $10 via pay I'd and now he does not answer the phone, I am calling the police.

Sent me a message about my wanted ad on Gumtree for a Samsung galaxy s21 ultra and told me he had the phone available for a much cheaper price. Wanted my to transfer funds for a deposit and when I told him no he said ok come and pick it up but I’m only available at night. Beware I’m sure this scammer was going to send me somewhere and rob me!
