Unsolicited call wanting to ****** booking me in for a booster shot. Legit as went through privacy policy and knew my vaccine dates. I also received SMS before the call.

Looks like a scam as the message was worded poorly. Have had plenty of calls from DHHS but never this late unless I've been in an exposure site. Haven't heard anyone ever say calls are made to book a vaccine.

Beware of those claiming it's safe. It's not. Likely posted by the scammers themselves.

They called claiming to be from Covid19 department but did not have my name. In fact they asked if this was my number...?

This morning I got a text at 9: 15a.m. From DH-COVID19 saying: "Hi, please be prepared to receive a call shortly from the Department of Health on +61 3 8634 4051 regarding your COVID-19 vaccination" Then at 9: 16 a call came through for that number, but it only rang once and they hung up before I could answer. I had my 3rd jab (booster) a couple of weeks ago. I was able to update the vaccine cert on my phone so it shows the booster - so I know their records are up to date. No idea why t

Claims to be Department of Health. This is a scam operation collection personal details to commit identity theft. Do not give them your date of birth, address, etc.

Claiming to be Dept of Health.I answered on third try. Do not believe this is real. Put me on hold "while i make an adjustment to the commputer". Then music stopped. Line dead. After he had my birth date and email address!!!

Has called me repeatedly on different days, including a Sunday, first I receive a text saying it is the department of health and that I will be receiving a call from the number regarding my vaccinations, seconds later I received a call from that number, it barely rings before hanging up and leaves no voice mail. I believe this is a scam.

Say they're from dept of health. Called the national hotline and they stated its a scam, do not give info and vaccination is free across the country. Block the number.

I got 2 txt messages saying it's from thedepartment of health and I tested positive and to click on a link but I didn't then few hours later another message saying to expect a call from 0386244051 which I received but didn't answer. It's a scam

I get a text message from DH-COVID19 saying to expect a call regarding my vaccine appointment, but they have tried to call me at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday morning, only ringing for a few seconds then hanging up and not leaving a voicemail. Definitely not the real Department of Health, and if it is they are very poorly trained. Either way, unless I get an email or phone call from a trustworthy source, this is a scam.

I got a call from this number saying that she is from " Department of Housing". She couldn't get mine or my wife's name and couldn't understand anything what she was trying to say. Then the person ended the call saying that it is wrong number. After reading the comments here I am 100% convinced that it is a scam.

I got sent an SMS telling me to expect a call from DHS regarding my covid vaccination appointment, followed by a call on a SUNDAY MORNING @ 8: 15AM. I didn't answer because 8AM on SUNDAY. About two hours later, the same thing happens but they reach my voicemail and leave a one syllable message. Hence my conclusion that it's a scam. 1, public servants don't work weekends. 2, if it was that important, they'd leave a proper message with a number to call back. Calling on sunday asking for new vaccination date appointments.

Well they could not even tell me a date, time or exposure site I had been at just that I had to isolate for 14 days I said they need to prove that its legit by telling me where I was exposed and they couldnt. The Indian speaking person then plucked out 5th Oct and I had stayed home that day also the 2 days before and after. I then hung up.
