KtoZvonil is a caller ID and spam protection service. We take your privacy seriously and comply with data protection laws and GDPR requirements.

1. What Data We Collect and Why

1.1. Contact Data (Contact Synchronization)

The KtoZvonil app may request access to your phone book (contact list). Collection of this data occurs solely with your explicit consent (clicking "Sync" or "Upload").

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your contact list to third parties, credit bureaus, or advertising agencies. Contact synchronization is performed solely to build the internal caller ID database ("How others named me") and only after your explicit consent within the app.

  • What data: Phone numbers and contact names.
  • Purpose: Enriching the global database to improve caller identification accuracy and detect spammers.
  • Security: Data is transmitted to the server (ktozvonil.net) via secure HTTPS protocol.

1.2. Call Log and Phone State

Access to these permissions is strictly required to provide the Core Functionality of the app — Caller ID and Spam Protection.

  • READ_PHONE_STATE: Used to detect the exact moment of an incoming call to trigger the spam check immediately.
  • READ_CALL_LOG: Used to display your call history within the app interface with added spam information and to allow you to report spammers.
  • Data Usage: Phone numbers from incoming calls and your call log are processed in real-time to fetch security ratings from our server. We do not upload or store your complete call log on our servers. Call log data is never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties for any purpose.

1.3. Technical Data

We may collect anonymous Device IDs and crash information to improve app stability.

1.4. Chrome Extension

If you use our Google Chrome extension, it automatically analyzes visited web pages to find phone numbers.

  • What data: Phone numbers found on pages, anonymized domain data.
  • Purpose: Providing instant number information (rating, reviews) directly on the page.
  • Privacy: We do not store full web page content or browsing history.

2. Third Party Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. Data is used solely for the operation of the KtoZvonil service.

3. Data Security

We have implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All data transactions between the app and server are encrypted.

4. Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your data from our database. To do this, contact us via the feedback form on the site or email the administrator.
